2018 COMMUNICATIONS BUDGET VOTE

The Minister of Communications, Ms Nomvula Mokonyane and the Deputy Minister Ms Pinky Kekana will table the 2018 Communications Budget Vote on 10 May 2018 from 16h15 to 18h15 in Parliamentunder the overarching theme:Highlighting achievements in the 2014-2019 MTSF period.

The budget vote is intended to outline the plans and priorities of the Communications portfolio and demonstrate to the communication portfolio committee members and South Africans citizens how the departmental budget will be utilized to support annual strategic targets to ensure that both departments deliver on its mandate.

A project team comprising the Department of Communications (DoC) [entities included] and the Government Communication and Information System (GCIS) has been established to management implementation of the budget vote activities.
