About Mala: Educator, Presenter/Producer/Author. I live by the motto that success breeds success which results from working smartly.


Radio Experience & Progression: Started at Lotus FM in October 1995. Every programme is a learning curve.I have met some wonderful people during this 22 year journey who have impacted positively on my life.


Accomplishments: I have 13 publications to my credit. Notable is the translation 67 quotes of Madiba’s  into Tamil in celebration of Mandela Day (2016). I received an acknowledgement from the National Assembly for this. This was followed by my most prized publication to date – the translation of Nelson Mandela’s autobiography into Tamil. This was released on Mandela Day (2017) Qualification:  BA. BA (hons). Higher Diploma in Education ( majors in Maths and English). Masters in Education


Hobbies: Writing
