About Mala: 

 

The presenter is a recently retired  educator who taught at Damarosa PRE Vocational School, a school for children with learning challenges. She taught Maths and English at the school for 29 years .The presenter also taught in India and Sussex in England.




Experience & Progression: 

 

  • Started at Lotus FM in October 1995. Every programme is a learning curve.
  • The degree which she studied for was one that equipped overseas students how to teach Tamil to those who see it as a foreign language,qualifications :BA, BA – hons,MA,Higher diploma In education and Currently a Ph.D student






Accomplishments: 


 

  • I am constantly attending overseas workshops on the progress of Tamil
  • Published 22 books to date.
  • Recipient of many awards and accolades, the most prestigious being the ‘THE GEM OF TAMIL FROM INDIA’
