To stand a chance of winning your share of R60 000 in retail vouchers, simply follow the step below:

Entries open: 06/09/2021 and close on the 1/10/2021
 

Step 3: Random numbers will be drawn on various shows anytime from the 06/09/2021 until the 01/10/2021.  These numbers will be called by a presenter or producer to inform the owner of the number that he or she has won a retail voucher to the value of R1500.00 in the Connection Call Competition. The owner of the number can assist their connection to also win a retail voucher to the value of R1500 by simply providing the presenter or producer with a friend or relatives number that we can contact live on air. If the connection call is made and the person answers, then the he or she will also win a retail voucher of R1500.00. In the event that the presenter or producer is only able to contact the owner of number which entered the competition, then the retail voucher of R1500.00 will be won.   In the event that the owner of the number cannot be contacted, then he or she is disqualified from winning the prize and another winner will be drawn.

Competition Terms and Conditions:

1. This competition is open to everyone except directors, members, partners, employees, agents and consultants of the SABC and/ or the competition promoters, and/ or their spouses, life partners, parents, children, brothers, sisters, business partners or associates.
2. No person may enter the same or any other competition hosted partly or in whole by Lotus FM within 90 days of winning a competition hosted or in whole by LotusFM
3. The competition will start on the 06/09/2021and end on the 01/10/2021. Entries received after this date/time will not be considered.
4. Any person who wishes to enter the competition may submit as many entries as they wish for this particular competition.
5. Entrants under the age of 18 must obtain permission from parents or guardians before entering
6. SMS’s are charged at a premium rate of R1.50 per sms. Free minutes, free sms’s and sms bundles do not apply.
7. Winners will only be contacted by LotusFM/SABC.
8. The SABC/ Lotus FM accept no responsibility for any problems or technical malfunction of any communication network or any late, lost, incomplete, misdirected, incorrectly submitted, delayed, illegible or corrupt entries. The SABC will not be liable for any costs incurred, responses received or any other consequences of user error.
9. Winners’ names will be announced anytime from the 06/09/2021 until the 01/10/2020.

10. Prizes not collected/ or claimed within 90 days will be forfeited and disposed of in the discretion of the SABC and/or the competition promoter. Winners based in Kwa Zulu Natal need to make arrangements to have their prizes collected from SABC KZN Offices located at 100 KE Masinga Road, Durban.

11. The judges’ decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into. The SABC will not be held responsible for any disputes arising from the competition or prize awards.

12. In order to claim this prize the winner must adhere to the rules of a specific campaign.
13. Winners may be required to appear on SABC Television or Radio, or on any other medium as shall be determined by the specific campaign.
14. Entrants will be deemed to have accepted these rules and agree to be bound by them when entering.
15. Winners’ names will be announced on the date and on the medium as will be determined by the specific campaign.
16. Prizes are not transferable.
17. The SABC reserves the right to cancel, modify or amend the competition at any time, if deemed necessary in its opinion, and if circumstances arise outside of its control.
18. Entrants should be South African citizens with valid identification
19. In order to claim the prize the winner must provide and complete all the relevant documentation. 
20. Winners use prizes at own risk. The SABC shall not be liable for any loss (including, without limitation, indirect or consequential loss), damage, personal injury or death which is suffered or sustained (including but not limited to that arising from any person's negligence) in connection with this competition or accepting or using the prize/s.
21. Entrants will be deemed to have accepted these rules and agree to be bound by them when entering.

Rules:

1. The competition will start from 06/09/2021 and ends on 01/10/2021.  The competition may also be extended pending on the retail vouchers won at the time.
2. A person may enter as many times as they wish to increase their chances in the competition.
3. SMS’s are charged at R1.50, free minutes and sms bundles do not apply.
4. If an entrant’s number is drawn and is not contactable live on-air, then he or she is disqualified
5. Winners may only win one voucher
6. Contactable connections will win retail vouchers to the value of R1500.00
7. An entrant will automatically win R1500.00 if their number is drawn and the presenter or producer is able to contact, he or she live on-air.

8. The successful entrants need to provide only one contactable friend or family member’s number live on-air.  The presenter or producer will only attempt to call them once.

1. Entries that contravene the terms and conditions or the rules of the competition will be disqualified.

10. Lotus FM reserves to right to amend or cancel the competition at any point in time without compensation or prior notice.
