Badmaas Company
A film wit a theory on life and moral highground on principles in between affairs of the family and business, imediately oure cautioned about a film like Fashion, which capitalised on the lessons learnt from having too much of a good time without keeping a conscient awareness whilst over indulging, cos in most cases, those ignorance come back to haunt you when you least expect it - and that's when you start to hide out and count your lost marbles...

That's the summary of this film intentiosn which it fulfills by presenting lifes issues of materialistic greed which affects many people at some part of their life, and when satisfying tis urge to become rich goes out of control - the days on te palyground get numbered.

Its that balance in the storylines which makes Badmaash Company the interesting film that it is. Even thou the film lacks total vigour in presepectie of its creativity and presentation, it's a two fold story told in a decent manner which starts to make sense wen the characters actions start to contradicit each other and we'r faced with a reformation process torwards the climax.

Shahid Kapoor excels as the leader of the Friends Company propogating the most perfect business scams which take im, is girlfriend and two buds on a rollercoaster ride from India to America. They have the clever minds with te ideal business acumen to make millions of dollars underhanded thru every deal - until reality catces up with all of them and their company is anulled until someone decides to start things fresh and on the right side of the law.

What good about this movie is its focus on sensitive points right from the family values, the respect for elders disciplines and honoring of true friendship to materialism and faith. It may take more time in showing the wrongs but the script allows the characters to rectify all of that before the end.

This is amongst Shaid Kapoor's more applaudable performances with stron empasis on emotion, there are certain scenes were Shahid breaks down into tears or his anger fits whic prove is maturiy as an actor. Anushka Sharma is seen totally different from her reserved traditional character in Rab Ne Bana Di Jodi. This is a total wild girl living lige on the edge and she plays it beautifully, especially in er interactions with Shahid.

Bai Change who debuts is acting skills in this movie has proven well that he's much more that a singer, and comedian Vir adjusts himself for a mixture of comedy wit seriousness, thereby providing a lot of the humor with is flirtatious behaviour and constant run ins with te Chinese buddy.

BOLLYWOOD BILLBOARD VERDICT This is a black comedy wich has more tendencies for the younger generationto find interesting and perhaps learn a few lessons. Even thou the film is gifted with new ideas, has some wow costumes and centres around a sensible script, the film lacks total entertainment power and arbours for too long around the turnaround of the characters at the climax. Actor turned director Parmet Seti has made a good impression with his first big scale movie attempt.

Another one on the downside is its thematic music by Pritam which isnt appealing in the least bit. Its worst watching at least for its youthful zing. BOLLYWOOD BILLBOARD 6/10
