| Event Details: The Salt March is an annual event where people come to show their solidarity for nonviloence and ubuntu. This is not a competitive walk. You can walk 5, 10, 15, 22Kms. The walk beings at the Phoenix Settlement in Inanda and ends at the Kings Park Athletics Stadium. This walk celebrates the life of Mahatma Gandhi and chief Albert Luthuli who have been vocal in their support for the development of a culture of nonviolence and ubuntu. Listeners can park their vechiles at the stadium where buses will transport you to the starting line. The last bus to leave the stadium will be at 5am as the walk begins at 7am.
